Join the workshop with Bheki. He will show you how to engage your body with different rhythms. Improve your musicality. Let your dance shine. ====================== More about Bheki Ndlovu Born in Durban, South Africa, Bheki began his career as a dancer. He performed in many productions and musicals, including: Showboat, Jesus Christ Super Star, the Wizard of Oz, and Sarafina. His dancing talent and expertise took him overseas where he toured through Europe, Australia and Switzerland. His work with renowned filmmakers, choreographers such as Michael Peters (Michael Jackson’s choreographer) and actors (Dennis Haysbert; Stacey Cadman) led him to the fields of choreography, music composition and directing. He has worked hand-in-hand in re- choreographing some of the work of well-known South African groups: Amanpondo and Women Unite. He has also choreographed dancers for Baletsatsi, Pulse (Sun International), and the movie, Goodbye Bafana (South Africa) and T.V series Cave girl (UK). He was a director and choreographer for the production Amakhosi – The Kings of Africa premiered in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. Bheki specializes in African dance, Hip Hop, street dance, contemporary dance, and adapts these styles in most of his work including salsa, jive, swing, samba, pansula, gumboot, and theatrical dance.
